Saturday, April 27th (in observation of Earth Day falling on Monday 4/22/24 this year), The Royal River, (MFC HQ) 81 Bridge Street, Yarmouth Maine

Join us and our friends at Royal River Fish Passage & Trout Unlimited for this annual river clean up & gear swap.  Help us clean up the river, bring some old fly gear to sell or recycle your old fly line and waders here in our shop!

The days event tent will be riverside outside our shop in Yarmouth. Staff will be set up by 9am with a map of the river around us. We'll have rubber gloves and bags for all to use. We will have bag drop spots at each section of the river scheduled for clean up.

In the lot and along the river will also be fly school from 10-12 and a used gear swap in the lot.  If you have some old rods, reels, sling packs, whatever, bring them a long for a flea market style community based fly fishing swap.

In the shop upstairs, we will offer our first fly rod "seconds" day.  Our loss is your gain. Minimally cosmetic blemished rods and a great discount for you!  We will also be accepting your old leaky waders to be repurposed.  And if that wasn't enough, we will even be accepting your old fly rods needing repair.

Give yourself some good fly fishing karma

The rivers will thank you later
