Lifetime Guarantee
We are proud to confidently offer a lifetime guarantee on all our graphite and carbon fiber fly rods. All of our rods are backed by a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the original owner with proof of purchase.
This warranty is limited to the replacement or repair of the rod. The replacement or repair of any broken section of your rod not covered under our warranty, is still repairable for a nominal replacement fee. Either way, you have peace of mind that we’ll always have your back!!
In the event we are sold out of your batch, the batch is no longer in production and/or it cannot be repaired due to materials, we will offer a variable credit towards a new rod and offer you a loaner rod from the shop in the meantime to get you back out there ASAP! For rods no longer in production that can be repaired, materials and color may vary from those used on the original rod. Components may also be replaced with their most comparable equivalent.
A return shipping, handling and mailing insurance charge will be applied to repairs. Warranty does not cover lost sections, discarded sections or lost rods. Original owner is responsible for the cost of sending in the rod to be repaired, with tracking and highly recommended insurance coverage. Full rod (all sections) must be received before any repairs or replacements are explored to ensure proper fit before returning the rod.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by use for other than its intended purpose, overuse of a classified weight, intentional breakage, abuse or neglect in the use, transport such as airlines, UPS, FedEx or USPS, or storage of the rod. It does not include broken rod tips damaged and broken after initial use. It does not include damage caused by you or others through attempted modifications or customization of our finished rods. If a rod to be repaired or replaced is due to damage caused by actions or conditions excluded from warranty coverage, Maine Fly Company will still attempt to repair or replace it for a nominal fee. In no event does Maine Fly Company accept or assume any responsibility or liability for incidental or consequential damages related to or arising from ownership or use of the rod.
