These clam shell fly boxes were built with the same profile size as a cell phone so it fits in your pocket. This box opens vertically, which allows you to easily hold it in one hand, and there is no need to try and balance your fly box while the current bats you around. You can snap it shut with a single hand, and you won’t drop that fly as you get ready to tie it on.
Cedar was chosen because of its amazing organic properties. Cedar is a natural bug repellant and the preferred wood for anything that will be used outdoors. This box has a robust scent and beautiful grain.
Maple Burl is one of the most interesting wood selections mother nature has to offer. Each Burl box is one of a kind an offers each its own unique patterns.
The box’s hinge and clasp system are all internal. Not only does this allow for a sleek design, but it also limits any entanglements with your other gear, lines, etc.
