With fast action rods making a comeback in recent years, we knew we needed a new staple rod for our lineup that was souped up, faster in action and rugged both in aesthetic and performance. We immediately found inspiration for this one from some of the more rustic and natural corners of Maine and The Fish River screams all these things and more. We’re in love with the color palette inspired by the native Salmon salar Sebago, (aka, the Landlocked Salmon) from these water systems, finished with a bit of a river camo vibe. We delivered with this one.
This batch has been coined in the shop as our “hunter” rod, due to its rugged design, high performance and absolute dependability in any condition. Whether you are nymphing, slinging streamers, or dropping dries on a dime from your buddy’s drift boat, the Fish River delivers!
